Limestone County Sheriff’s Office Arrest 9 Males for Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office stated on Sunday that nine males had been arrested as part of a weeklong investigation to combat human trafficking and child exploitation. The operation was carried out by the Limestone County Criminal Investigation Division from March 9th to March 15th, with help from patrol and custody officers. According to the sheriff’s office report, six males were arrested and each is charged with first-degree human trafficking, electronic solicitation of a juvenile, and traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sexual act. Three more males face additional charges such as two counts of first-degree human trafficking, electronic solicitation of a juvenile, and traveling to meet a minor for an unlawful sexual act. Bond amounts will be set by a judge at a later date.
