Columbia Mayor Declares “CHS Game Day Cheer Team Day” in Honor of Columbia Central Cheer Team

Mayor Chaz Molder has designated Friday, March 14th, 2025, as “CHS Game Day Cheer Team Day” in Columbia! The Columbia Central High School Cheer Team won first place in both the Space Center and Middle Tennessee Regionals, earning an esteemed spot at the National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando, Florida. After an incredible performance, they advanced to the finals and earned their first National Championship title, a first for any Columbia, Tennessee cheerleading squad! The City of Columbia recognizes the Game Day Cheer Team and their coaches for their dedication, sportsmanship, and professionalism.
