EMS and Hospital Staff Participate In Neonatal Resuscitation Training

Lawrence County hosted a specialized training for newborn care for Emergency Medical Service and hospital staff from across the region Thursday and Friday at Southern Tennessee Higher Education Center.  The Neonatal Resuscitation Program provided participants with an opportunity to become equipped as frontline providers, with skills needed to care for the most fragile patients in their first moments of life.  The program was taught by personnel from Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
