SHS’s McDonald Named Grand Champion at Welding Competition

Students from all three of Lawrence County’s high school welding programs participated in a welding competition held at TCAT Pulaski earlier this month.  A total of 85 students from the area participated, testing the skills they have acquired by being involved in the programs at their respective schools.  A number of local students placed well in the competition, bringing home awards. Summertown High School’s Matti McDonald was named the over-all Grand Champion.
