Columbia Man Arrested for Sexual Exploitation of a Minor

According to Main Street Maury, a Columbia man was arrested last week on several counts, including sexual exploitation of a minor. Eric Kerr Swartz, 44, of Columbia, was taken into Maury County Jail on March 6th, 2025, and later released on a $155,000 bond. According to court documents, Swartz reportedly emailed and received pornographic photographs from a 17-year-old female on several occasions in February and March this year. Swartz was charged with exploitation of a minor via electronic means and soliciting sexual exploitation of a minor. He is set to appear in general sessions court on March 26th, 2025.
