Johnny Daniel Griggs

Johnny Daniel Griggs, age 78, a resident of Pulaski, TN passed away Monday March 10, 2025 at his residence.
Johnny was born in Cornersville, TN on April 25, 1946 to Pink and Mary Parsons Griggs. He was an active member and deacon of Welcome Valley Baptist Church and was retired form Johnny’s Pool Room. Mr. Griggs was preceded in death by his father and mother Rev. Pink and Maggie Griggs; brothers Pink Griggs, Jr., Raymond Griggs, Hudson Griggs, Shields Griggs, Clarence Griggs; sisters Janella Lovell, Marzee Thomas, Lovelace Griggs, Sarah Brown; his first wife Helen Barnett Griggs; son Mickey Darrell Griggs; great grandchild Rebecca Jones.

Visitation will from 4-8pm on Tuesday March 11, 2025 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home. Funeral Services being held at 11 am on Wednesday March 12, 2025 at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home with interment to follow in Maplewood Cemetery.

Mr. Griggs is survived by his wife Judy Griggs of Pulaski; children Mary Jones (Donnie) of Pulaski, Sandy Jones (Kenneth) of Pulaski, Tammy Cox of Lewisburg, Matthew Griggs (Gerika) of Lebanon, Jessica Jenkins (Ronnie) of Murfreesboro, Eric Gowan (Michelle) of Goodsprings, Jeff Gowan (Amanda) of Goodsprings, Gina Griggs of Pulaski, Tina Holt (Jason) of Pulaski; sisters Dimple Prentice, LaVert Wilson (Johnny); 23 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; other survivors include many loving nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces too numerous to mention.
