Mount Pleasant Police Issue Alert Regarding Money on Cars

Mount Pleasant Police Department issued an alert Friday regarding counterfeit money that is being left on parked vehicles.  They said the money appears to be real, and that it could actually be authentic.  Several people in surrounding areas have reported finding counterfeit bills that had been placed underneath their windshield wipers.  While the motive is unclear at this time, they recommend that you call 911 to report the suspicious activity rather than immediately approaching your vehicle.
