Lawrence Firefighters Provide Mutual Aid in Giles

Members of Lawrence County Fire & Rescue recently answered a request for mutual aid for a vehicle fire on Highway 64 in Giles County. Firefighters arrived on-scene with New Prospect’s rescue truck, equipped with a compressed air foam system. The 31-gallon unit mixes water, foam, and compressed air which allows a quick resolution to these types of fires. Within 60 seconds of their arrival, the fire was extinguished.
