Jimmy Royce Winters

Jimmy Royce Winters, age 77, of Summertown, TN passed away Thursday, March 06, 2025, at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN.  He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Evers Construction, and a member of Mt. Horeb Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney and Imogene Burdick Winters.

He is survived by his wife, Jan Winters of Summertown, TN; two sons, Rob Winters of Birmingham, AL, and Josh Winters (Amber) of Lawrenceburg, TN; two grandchildren, Breleigh Winters and Kynsley Winters; three sisters, Shirley Konig of Summertown, TN, Teresa Walker (Steve) of Summertown, TN, and Dowann Winters of Lawrenceburg, TN; one brother, David Winters (Holly) of Summertown, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, March 09, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, March 10, 2025, with Todd Ozment officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.  The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
