The Huntsville Police Department is Seeking Information Involving a Murder Case

The Huntsville Police Department is looking for additional witnesses who may have information concerning a fatal shooting that occurred Monday, March 3rd, near 240 Martin Road. Byron Alexander Peterson, 22, of Huntsville, was arrested and charged with murder following the event, but officials believe additional people may have important information or security camera evidence that might help with the investigation. Demetrius Jones, 53, was shot and killed as a result of the incident. Police say there are no additional outstanding suspects or persons of interest, and there is no threat to the community.
