On Friday, February 28th, the Lawrenceburg Sheriff’s Office responded to a call involving a stolen trailer at O’Rielly’s Auto Parts in Summertown. A BOLO had been released out of Hardin County for the trailer and not long after was reported seen in Summertown. The first units arrived and made contact with the driver, who stated he found the trailer on the side of the road and he had picked it up. The male was then advised that he was under arrest for the possession of stolen property and transported to Lawrence County Jail. He was charged with possession of Stolen Property on a $20,000 bond. The next units arrived at the scene to assist with the trailer. Upon arrival, law enforcement noticed a woman sitting on the curb who was involved with the stolen trailer. Investigators began to search the woman, who soon became agitated and aggressive. She was advised that further precautions would be taken if she did not comply. During the search, investigators found a pill bottle that contained .5 grams of fentanyl, 6.5 pills of Xanax, and 3.5 grams of a white crystal substance. The female continued to resist arrest but was soon contained and transported to the Lawrence County Detention Center.
