Lawrenceburg, Tennessee’s City Hall is a three-story bank building constructed in the 1970s. The building needs significant repairs. This Request for Proposals (RFP) invites eligible roofing contractors to provide roof replacement or repair proposals, including cost and timing. Projects for consideration include the HVAC Project: the City recently completed significant maintenance to the HVAC system, including the units on the roof of City Hall. This RFP was timed to take place after that work was completed, so there should be no other projects impacting the roof in the foreseeable future. Historic Downtown: The City Hall is in the Town Square, and the building is subject to the Historic Guidelines. There is no reason to expect any significant historic requirements for a roof replacement unless it were to significantly change the appearance of the building façade. Proposers will have the opportunity to examine the roof on Monday, March 17th, at 8:00 AM. No tools will be provided for your evaluation. Please respond to this RFP by Friday, April 25th, 2025 at noon by emailing the response and any supporting documents to Dick McKinley, City Administrator at dmckinley@lawrenceburgtn.gov.
