Thomas Wayne Glenn Obituary
Thomas Wayne Glenn was born in Nashville on December 25, 1951 and passed away at his residence on March 01, 2025, with his family at his bedside. He graduated in 1969 from Bethesda High School and retired from the Untied States Postal Service in 2011, after 32 years of service. He worked 10 years at Murray Ohio. He raised cattle on his farm in Summertown.
He is preceded in death by his birth parents, Thomas G. Glenn and Dorothy Rose Jackson; parents, Bert and Belle Rose; his long time companion, Inez Isbell; his brother, Larry Glenn; his sisters, Roxanne Dunnfield and Carla Glenn.
He is survived by his son, Thomas Steven Glenn (Dawn) of Summertown, TN; his daughter, Cherilyn Elaine Glenn of Summertown, TN; his sister, Barbara Glenn Sutherland (Ronnie) of Santa Fe, TN; his brothers, Tommy Glenn, Frank Glenn, Arthur Glenn, Gary Markum; his step-mother, Geri Glenn; his grandchildren, Lindsey Glenn, Khierra Mosley, and Shattona Harney; several great-grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Compassus Hospice and especially Tommy Cumnings for his caregiving.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 12:00 PM Tuesday, March 4, 2025, with Joe Potts officiating. Interment will follow at Summertown Cemetery in Summertown, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to the Summertown Cemetery Fund.
