According to WAAY 31, after being found guilty of several sex crimes against some of his players in Limestone County, a former recreational league softball coach received a life sentence. In December 2024, Bradley Loggins was convicted of several charges, including sodomy and sexual abuse of a minor under the age of twelve. The charges were seven counts of Sexual Abuse of a Child Less than 12 and Sexual Abuse 1st Degree. According to recently submitted court documents, he now faces a variety of penalties for each charge, including life in prison, even though his sentencing for these crimes was postponed after the trial. Five charges resulted in twenty years in the penitentiary, one charge resulted in ten years, and lastly, one charge was life in the penitentiary.
