Decatur Police Department’s Vice/Narcotics Unit Made a Successful Seize

Investigators from the Decatur Police Department’s Vice/Narcotics Unit launched an investigation in January and February of 2025 after receiving complaints of drug activity at two local residences. During the inquiry, investigators named Brandon Lamar Gladney, 37, of Decatur, as the main suspect. During the investigation, search warrants were obtained for two homes. On February 26th, 2025, investigators carried out the search warrants and made contact with Gladney. During the investigation of the properties, investigators discovered and seized a trafficking amount of cannabis, cocaine, spice, multiple stolen guns, narcotics paraphernalia, and several US dollars. Gladney faces two counts of trafficking illegal substances, two counts of receiving stolen property in the second degree, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was detained on a $141,000 bond.
