18-Year-Old Threatens to Shoot Florence High School

On February 24th, 2025, at around 4:00 PM, the Florence Police Department School Resource Officer was notified of a threat to Florence High School. A person was seen in a video waving a gun at the camera and threatening to shoot the school. The Florence High SRO recognized the person in the video and knew he attended night school at Florence High. The Florence Police SRO made contact with the person. Following additional investigation, the man, Jadarus Foster, 18, was detained for Terroristic Threats in the First Degree. Jadarus Foster remains innocent until proven guilty.
