Jason Eric Smith, age 37, of Knoxville, TN passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025, at his residence. He was a native of Summertown, TN, enjoyed playing and watching sports, especially golf, and loved taking care of his dogs, Toby and Lola.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Marvin and Maxine Chapman; paternal grandfather, Jessie E. Smith; paternal grandmother, Mattie Mae Hyde.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Patti Rosson (Tony) of Summertown, TN; father and step-mother, David Smith (Sharon) of Summertown, TN; siblings, Ashlie Frakes (Eric) of Summertown, TN, Jonathan Rosson (Chasity) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Matthew Rosson (Eden) of Pulaski, TN, Meghan Vincent (Kevin) of Summertown, TN, Craig Luther (Kiana) of Summertown, TN; fur babies, Toby and Lola; Honorary brothers, Spencer Parker and Drew Parker; Nieces, Emory, McKenzey, Emma, Paisley, Sophia, Macey, and Julia; nephews, Hayden, Judah, Josiah, Chanceton, and Liam.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Thursday, February 27, 2025, with Ricky Glass officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
