Jimmy Bland Mullins, age 83, passed away February 15, 2025. He spent his childhood in Loretto, TN, where he was saved and baptized at Loretto Baptist Church. He retired from General Motors to the family farm. Jim served in the United States Army for 6 years. He was a farmer, solider, carpenter, mechanic, outdoorsman, fisherman, loved bluegrass and country music, old tractors, engines, feeding the birds, meeting with friends at Hardee’s, Jack of all trades, always willing to help others. He had a great sense of humor and a funny way with words. His death has drawn the family close and there have been lots of gospel conversations. God has been glorified through it all. The funeral service will be held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, February 25,2025 at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Bishop Chapel Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Survivors include:

Wife of 40 years- Joyce Mullins

3 Sons- Joel Mullins, David Mullins (Tina), & Chris Mullins

3 Step-Daughters- Tammy Roby (Mike), Joanie Wilson (Charlie), & Penny Hite (Kevin)

3 Sisters- Ann Parker (Richard), Dottie Pillow, & Myra Sowell (Gary)

1 Brother- Harry Mullins (Carol)

4 Grandchildren- Naomi Mullins, Owen Mullins, Christin Leigh Ann Mullins, &

Aidan Mullins

8 Step Grandchildren

Preceded in death by:

Parents- Rev. James Wesley Mullins & Bessie Mae Bland Mullins

1 Sister- Wanda Mullins

2 Brothers- Elvis Mullins & Virgil Mullins
