The Second Annual Fire Week at UT Southern was a Success

A tremendous success, UT Southern’s second annual FIRE Week brought Firehawks from all over the world together to support the university’s purpose. The initial goal of 500 donations was nearly doubled over the week-long celebration of generosity and school spirit, demonstrating an amazing level of participation both on and off campus. The University was able to raise over $67,000, have a total of over 1,000 plus gifts contributed, 60 plus gifts from outside of the United States were received, 50 or more funds were able to be supported across the campus, and $3,000 match fulfilled for academic programs. Every donation given during FIRE Week supports students learning, development, and success. Donors are assisting UT Southern in achieving its students-first purpose by funding important university programs that give students the tools, guidance, and experiences they need to thrive.
