Kitchen Fire Contained By Firefighters

Members of the Lawrenceburg Fire Department were able to quickly contain a kitchen fire at an Old Florence Road residence Wednesday, preventing the loss of the entire home.  Smoke was visible upon their arrival and they entered to find that food left unattended on the stove had caught fire.  The flames were extinguished before spreading to other parts of the house.  While the kitchen did sustain heavy damage, no injuries were reported.
