Giles County Man Arrested for Sexual Exploitation of a Minor

On Wednesday, February 12th, 2025, Investigators with the Giles County Sheriff’s Department, partnered with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security, and Pulaski Police Department, executed a search warrant on Sunset Drive in Pulaski. The purpose of the search warrant was to collect evidence in an ongoing sexual exploitation of a minor investigation. Numerous electronic and storage devices were collected. Tyler Palma Petty, age 40, was taken into custody and booked on 3 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and 1 count of Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. This is an ongoing investigation and more charges are expected. Giles County Sheriff’s Department is a member of ICAC, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Program, and continues to actively pursue child predators.
