Colene Butler Willis

Colene Butler Willis, age 89, of Lawrenceburg, TN,
passed away on Sunday, February 9 th , 2025 at
Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in
Lawrenceburg. Colene was born on December 3 rd ,
1935 to the late Harvey and Luanna Butler in Holly
Creek, TN. Colene loved being a mother and a
caretaker, and kept several children within her
community throughout the majority of her adult life.
She was a member of Meadow View Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
death by her husband, T.A. Willis; 7 siblings.
She is survived by her son, Tim Willis; sister, Corene
Gambrell; brothers, Doris Butler and J.D. Butler;
several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held at Mt. Nebo
Cemetery in St. Joseph, TN, on Thursday, February
13 th , 2025 beginning at 2:00 p.m.
The family would like to extend a deep gratitude to
Missy, Donna, and the entire staff of Caris for the
love and care they provided during this difficult time.
