Morris Glen Allen

Morris Glen Allen, 83, of Florence, AL, passed from this life on February 11, 2025 after his battle with cancer. Morris was a native of Lauderdale County, a graduate of Rogers High School, a sheet metal worker for TVA, and a member of Local #48. He was a member of Glendale Church of Christ.

Morris is survived by:

Wife: Faye Wesson Allen, with whom he proudly celebrated 62 years of marriage in December

Sons: Mark Allen (Holly), Micah Allen (Candy), and Max Allen (Megan)

Grandchildren: Seth (Taylor), Hunter (Allison), Chloe, and Zack

Brothers: Travis Allen (Joanna), Dennis Allen (Sherry), and Bobby Allen (Maureen)

Sister-in-Law: Sharon

He was preceded in death by:

Parents: A.D. and Ruby Allen
In-Laws: Thomas and Annie Mae Wesson
Great-Grandson: Nolan Allen
Brother: Terry Dale Allen

Visitation will be Friday, February 14, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Ben Siegel officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Morris’ sons and grandsons.
