David Hudson Farr of Pulaski, Tennessee finished his race surrounded by his loving family on Friday,
January 24 th , 2025 at the University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital. He was born in Columbia,
Tennessee on November 13 th , 1984 and was 40 years old.
David was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He and Katie are members of the South
Fayetteville Church of Christ where he loved to lead singing. He had a natural ability to pick and joke
with people and impersonate cartoon characters. David was kind, humble, loved to serve and make
others smile.
David formally worked for the Marshall County Board of Education and was currently employed at the
Giles County Board of Education in Information Systems. He was an avid Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
and Batman fan, loved building things out of Lego’s and passed his love of Lego’s to his daughter, and
took pride in his problem-solving abilities.
Visitation will be 10:00am until 12:00pm on Saturday, February 1 st , 2025 at Bennett-May & Pierce
Funeral Home and Crematory.
The memorial service will follow at 12:00pm, Saturday, February 1 st , 2025, in the chapel of Bennett-May
& Pierce Funeral Home.
The family asks for memorial donations to help with medical expenses be made to First Farmers and
Merchants Bank c/o 302 S 2nd St, Pulaski, TN 38478.
He is preceded in death by;
Grandparents, Geneva Farr and Hudson & Thelma Griggs. Uncles, Ronnie and Jimmy Griggs. Cousins, Kim
and Rhonda Griggs.
He is survived by his,
Wife, Katie Willett Farr of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Daughter, Dovie Farr of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Mother, Yvonne Farr of Lewisburg, Tennessee.
Father, David M. Farr of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
Sister, Lynae (Drew) Leverette of Shelbyville, Tennessee.
Nieces and nephews, Lukas, Kerry, Martha, Ellie, Emerie, and Elena.
Grandfather, Morris Farr of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
Mother and father-in-law, Morris and Diane Willett of Florence, Alabama.
Several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends also survive.
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for David Hudson Farr.
