Coach Killen Garners Most Wins In Alabama History

Lawrenceburg native Jana Killen hit another milestone Tuesday, garnering the most wins of any basketball coach in Alabama history. According to the Alabama High School Athletic Association, Killen led the Deshler High School girls’ basketball team to a 77-33 win over Hatton.  This moved her to the top of the leaderboard for career wins.  Killen boasts an impressive 920-228 overall record.  Killen has been coaching at Deshler in Tuscumbia for the past 36 years.
