Senator Page Walley Begins his Second Term as Tennessee Senate

During the opening session of the 114th General Assembly on Tuesday, January 14th, state senator Page Walley, a Republican from Savannah, took the oath of office, formally beginning his second term in the Tennessee Senate. Other freshly elected and reelected senators were also sworn into their new terms during the ceremony, which was held in Nashville’s Senate Chamber. In November, Senator Walley was elected to a second four-year term. He has more than 20 years of distinguished public service experience. In addition to his positions as Commissioner of Human Resources in Alabama and Commissioner of Children’s Services in Tennessee, he previously spent ten years in the Tennessee State House, from 1990 to 2000. Walley is a minister and a registered clinical psychologist in addition to his legislative responsibilities.
