Four Arrested in Elkmont, Alabama on Drug Charges

After receiving many complaints about unlawful activities at a property on Grant Drive in Elkmont, Alabama, the Limestone County Drugs Unit, the Athens Police Department-Alabama, and several other law enforcement agencies successfully carried out a drugs operation at the residence on Thursday, January 9th, 2025. Two traffic stops resulted from the cops’ monitoring of the house during the operation. Following a good indication during the search, two ounces of methamphetamine, one-half ounce of marijuana, and a weapon were seized during the initial stop. Officers found two more weapons and two ounces of methamphetamine during a second traffic check. The results from the traffic stop allowed officers to initiate a search warrant on the home. When the Limestone County SWAT team carried out the warrant, they found two more weapons, a small quantity of marijuana, and more than 1507 grams (about 3.3 pounds) of methamphetamine. The following subjects are: Danielle Latrice Crutcher, 31, of Elkmont with 6 charges and a bond set to $205,500. Dartavian Anwar Crutcher, 19, of Athens with 2 charges and a bond set to $101,000. Deandre Marquis Vaughn, 21, of Huntsville with 1 charge and a $100,000 bond. Lastly, Uganda Tanzania Crutcher, 51, of Elkmont with 1 charge and a $1,000 bond.
