Daniel Grant Fairchild of Pulaski, Tennessee passed away Sunday morning, January 12th, 2025 at his home in Giles County. He was born in Meridian, Mississippi on July 8th, 1978 and was 46 years old.

Grant attended as a child the Enterprise School System and then enrolled in the University of Southern Mississippi, and Augustus State where he finished with a master’s degree in Sports Medicine. He then moved to Tennessee where he was employed at Martin Methodist College, now known as UT Southern, for 24 years as the Director of Sports Medicine. He loved his job, his students, and players and treated each one as if they where his own. Grant always strived to push them and council them to the best he could to where they could return back to the game they loved. He was a very loving and caring husband and father and loved spending time with his family. Grant was always full of life and there was never a dull moment around him. He had a passion and love for always helping others anyway he could. Grant also had the privilege to work the Special Olympics.

Visitation will be 3:00pm until 6:00pm on Thursday, January 16th, 2025 at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The memorial service will follow at 6:00pm, Thursday, January 16th, 2025, in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home.

The family ask that memorial donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lamar Judson Fairchild.

He is survived by his,
Wife, Alicia Beth Glover Fairchild of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Son, Parker Harbison of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
Daughter, Madison Harbison of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Mother, Bonnie Sue (Sam Moore) Fairchild of Meridian, Mississippi.
Brother, John Wayne (Karen) Fairchild of Caledonia, Mississippi.
Brother, Edward Ford Fairchild of Meridian, Mississippi.
Mother-in-law, Kim (Stacey) Smith of Goodspring, Tennessee.
Father-in-law, Danny (Christie) Glover of Goodspring, Tennessee.
Sisters-in-law, Sarah Glover of Goodspring, Tennessee.
Kaylee Montes of Goodspring, Tennessee.
Channing (Kevin) Stafford of Goodspring, Tennessee.
Brothers-in-law, Brandon Smith of Goodspring, Tennessee.
Hunter Glover of Goodspring, Tennessee.
Hagin Glover of Goodspring, Tennessee.
Several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles also survive.
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements for Daniel Grant Fairchild.
