Authorities report that no injuries resulted from an early morning fire at a Brink Street home Sunday. Units with the Lawrenceburg Fire Department responded around 1:30 a.m. to a fire in the detached garage. Firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire, but not before damage had been sustained to the attic of the garage, and one room of the home. The fire is believed to have been ignited by a heat lamp. Fire officials are urging residents to exercise extreme caution when using outdoor heating methods for animals, ensuring that there are no combustible items within three feet of the heating source.
