Helen M. Rigsby, age 94, of Lawrenceburg,TN passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Keestone of Lawrenceburg in Lawrenceburg,TN. She was a native of Lawrenceburg,TN, She graduated St.Thomas School of Nursing, She then joined the United States Navy as a Registered Nurse. She was responsible for training Hospital Corpman at Great Lakes Naval Hospital during the Vietnam War and after a career of twenty years retired at the rank of Lieutenant Commander. She loved animals and reading. She was of the Baptist Faith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Horace Neil Rigsby; and her mother, Lady Mildred Hewgley Harbin.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg,Tennessee. An Inurnment will be held at a later date at John Lay Cemetery
