If it is too cold outside for you, it is too cold outside for your pets.  The American Veterinary Medical Association recommends some tips for caring for your fury companions during extreme temperatures.  When outside, check your pet’s paws frequently for signs of cold-weather damage or injury.  Remember that hot cars pose a hazard for pets, but so do cold cars.  If you must venture out, consider leaving your pet at home.   While all pets should have solid, warm shelter, if temperatures become too cold, they should be brought inside if at all possible.  And remember that pets need plenty of fresh, non-frozen water.
