Sylvia W. Moore Short

Sylvia W. Moore Short, age 97 of Loretto, TN, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024 peacefully at NHC Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN, of natural causes. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN and affiliated with the Methodist Church. She loved her seven children and exhibited a wonderful, faithful, loving commitment to raising them. Her work history outside the home included manufacturing positions in North Alabama and Lawrence County, TN. She received a lot of pleasure in making assembly-line production so easily on each job. Miss Sylvia was well known in the county for providing Stanley products to others. Visitation will be at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Services will follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel. Brother Ray Watkins and Chad Moore will be officiating. Internment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Loretto Memorial Chapel is in charge of all arrangements.

Heather Jordan, Tiffany Moore, Ira Moore, Mikala Moore, Ty Moore, Alyssa Moore,

Tanner Moore, Chad Moore, Blake Moore, Erin Woo, Ben Moore, Craig Moore,

And Blythe Myhan.
