Florence PD Announces Hours When Fireworks Are Permitted

In order to maintain safety within the city limits, the Florence, Police Department is reminding residents that there is a schedule of hours during the holiday season when fireworks are permitted.  From now through December 30^th, fireworks are permitted from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.  New Year’s Eve hours are 10 a.m. until 12:30 a.m., and January 1 and 2 fireworks are permitted from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.  They ask that everyone celebrate safely and respect their neighbors.
