Resident Recognized For Roadway Cleanup Efforts

Lawrence County Solid Waste Director Gary Wayne Hyde and members of his department recognized local resident Shawn Litchfield recently for his remarkable efforts in keeping his community clean and free of litter.  Litchfield has spent the past two years diligently collecting trash along a two-mile stretch of East Edan Road.  He has collected around one hundred bags of trash discarded along the roadway.
