Loretto Police Department Make an Arrest for Drug Related Charges

With help from the St. Joseph Police Department and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department, the Loretto Police Department executed a search warrant at 104 Beartown Road in Loretto on December 16th. Several bags containing suspected methamphetamine, suboxone strips, scales, packaging baggies, pipes, tooter straws, and guns were found by the authorities during the search. Billy Jay Bivens will be charged with possession of Schedule II Meth for Resale, possession of Schedule III Suboxone, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm while committing a felony as a result of the search by the Lawrence County Grand Jury. Cody Rex Parker will be charged with both meth possession and drug paraphernalia possession. Until proven guilty, all subjects are presumed innocent.
