Lawrence County Holiday Sober Ride Program

As we approach the New Year Holiday, the Lawrenceburg Police Department wants to remind everyone to celebrate responsibly and not drink and drive. Officers will be out on New Year’s Eve in force, focusing on taking dangerous impaired drivers off the roadways. However, if you are inside the city limits of Lawrenceburg on New Year’s Eve and find yourself unable to drive, we urge you to call our central dispatch at 931-762-0450 for a sober ride home to a destination inside the City of Lawrenceburg by a Lawrenceburg Police Officer. The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office will also be participating to take residents home with a destination in Lawrence County. The Lawrenceburg Police Department would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and remember booze it and lose it.
