Virginia Mae Kaiser

Virginia Mae Kaiser, age 91, of Pleasant View, TN, passed
away on Sunday, December 15 th , 2024 at her residence in
Pleasant View. She was born September 19 th , 1933 to the
late Velton R. Guthrie and Eula Mae Murrell Guthrie in
Lawrence County, TN. She worked for many years in a
record pressing plant called GRT. She enjoyed gardening
in her free time, and had won awards for the flowers that
grew in her garden. She enjoyed spending time with her
loving family and friends. She was of Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by
her first husband, Ervin Cox; second husband, Jim Kaiser,
brothers, R.L. Guthrie and James Guthrie, and her sister,
Geneva Mattox.
She is survived by her children, Wanda Nicks and Dale
Cox; grandchildren, Zachary, Dillon, Dustin, Christie, and
Travis; great grandchildren, Jaquelyn and Gabby; great
great grandchildren, Cienna, Andrew, and Zander.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on
Wednesday, December 18 th , 2024 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00
p.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m.
Interment will be held at Lawrence County Memorial
Gardens.
Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is in charge of handling all
final arrangements.
