Volunteers in the area are celebrating the gathering of shoeboxes filled with gifts that will cheer up kids everywhere. As part of Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child, thousands of volunteers packed shoeboxes with entertaining toys, school supplies, and personal hygiene products. These gift-filled shoeboxes will be distributed by the worldwide Christmas project to children in over 100 countries, many of which are affected by poverty, disease, disasters, and war. Every shoebox is a chance to spread the gospel and give hope to underprivileged kids worldwide.
