Multiple Brush Fires in Southern Maury County

Maury County Fire Department was sent to a reported brush fire on Culleoka Highway on Saturday at 3:38 PM. When units arrived, they saw that several acres were on fire and set to work defending buildings. Additionally, a second alarm for additional personnel was requested. Two other brush fires were sent to the southern area of the county while units were on this incident, which led to a mutual aid request to the Summertown Fire Department. The multiple brush fires were taken under control and put out effectively.
