School Director Outlines Overcrowding Plan for SES

Lawrence County Director of Schools Michael Adkins has outlined a plan to address overcrowding at Summertown Elementary School.  Plans are to move the sixth grade to Summertown Middle School for the 2025-26 school year.  The move will free up four classrooms at the elementary school, providing much needed space.  Adkins advised that there will be limited contact between high school and middle school students.
