Pleasant Grove Cemetery Candle Lighting Ceremony Dec. 6

The Annual Pleasant Grove Cemetery Candle Lighting has been scheduled for Friday, Dec. 6.  Volunteers gather at the cemetery each year to light hundreds of candles and place luminaries on headstones throughout the cemetery.  Volunteers will gather at 2 p.m. to prepare bags with sand and begin placing them on graves. The lighting of the candles will begin around 4:30 p.m.  Pleasant Grove Cemetery is located off of U.S. Highway 64 West, on Old Highway 64, approximately seven miles outside of Lawrenceburg.
