Lauderdale County Drug Task Force Makes Multiple Arrest

Agents from the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force carried out a search warrant at a residence located at Highway 20 Waterloo on November 20th. One of the residents of the house engaged in drug dealing, which led to the acquisition of the search warrant. The home was entered by the Florence/Lauderdale Special Operations Team. There were several people inside the house. Agents found a significant quantity of methamphetamine (ICE), crack cocaine, marijuana, synthetic marijuana (spice), and drug paraphernalia consistent with drug use and distribution during a search of the property. The Methamphetamine (ICE) weighed more than two pounds. The methamphetamine (ice) and other substances found have an estimated street value of $10,000.00. Four individuals were arrested as a result of the search warrant, Dawn Marie Ford, 64, Brittney Lashay Miller, 34, Joshua Randell Keeton, 36, and Bridgett Arlene Thompson, 64, all of Florence. The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office, the Florence/Lauderdale Special Operations Team, the Lauderdale County District Attorney’s Office, and the Florence Police Department all provided support to the Lauderdale County Drug Task Force throughout this investigation.
