Cletus Ray Staggs

Cletus Ray Staggs, age 67, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed
away on Wednesday, November 13 th , 2024 at his home in
Lawrenceburg. Ray was born on October 3 rd , 1957 to the
late William Cletus and Lairean Brewer Staggs. Ray was
learning disabled, but always had a smile on his face and
enjoyed the little things in life. He enjoyed spending time
with his family, especially around the holidays, watching
the cars go by, fishing, and just generally having a good
time on a day to day basis. He brought joy to so many of
his loved one’s lives, and will be dearly missed.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his
siblings, William Leo Staggs, Hazel Eloise Gower,
Rayburn Allen Staggs, Roger Wayne Staggs, Melinda Sue
Jackson, and Brenda Sue Staggs.
He is survived by siblings, Carl Rex Staggs, Paul Ricky
Staggs, Sandra Kay Kilburn, Judy Ann Sittman, and
Deborah Janell Garland; niece, Donna Luke (Christopher);
A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great
nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Napier Cemetery on
Monday, November 25th, 2024 beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Brother Tony Gordy will be officiating.
Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is in charge of handling all
final arrangements.
