Flu and COVID-19 instances frequently rise over the holiday season due to family get-togethers and the colder temperature, which increases the risk of serious illness. Dr. Rebecca Stern, Assistant Professor of Division of Infectious Diseases and Adult Ambulatory Medical Director of Infection Prevention at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, will be available on November 21st via zoom call from 9:00 to 12:00 to talk about how immunizations might help lower hospitalizations and symptoms, particularly for individuals who are more vulnerable.
