Chamber of Commerce Launches 2025 Civics Bee

The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce announces the launch of the 2025 National Civics Bee, an initiative aimed at encouraging more young Americans to engage in civics and contribute to their communities.  Middle school students in 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th grade from public, private, and home schools are invited to take part in the first-round civics essay competition.  The online submission portal will remain open until February 4.  Twenty entries will be selected to advance to a local competition.  For more information on the National Civics Bee in Tennessee visit:  LawCoTN.com/civics-bee.
