Keither Dale Hood

Keither Dale Hood of Goodspring, TN passed away on Tuesday, November 12 th , 2024 surrounded by his
loving family. He was born in Giles County, TN on April 2 nd , 1947 and was 77 years old.
Dale was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a Vietnam Veteran that was proud to serve
his country. It was an honor to serve and he appreciated what his country did for him. Dale enjoyed
doing carpentry work and working on his farm. He loved classic cars and tinkering with cars and
tractors. He was always a big family man and took pride in his children, grandchildren, and their
accomplishments. Everyone who met Dale always said what a good man he was.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 13 th , 2024 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and on Thursday,
November 14 th , 2024 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral service will follow on Thursday, November 14 th , 2024 at 11:00am in the chapel of Bennett-
May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The burial with full military honors will be at Shores Memory Garden in Goodspring, TN
Dale was preceded in death by, his parents, Sam and Frances Hood, In-Laws, Woodrow and Wilma
Williams, Sister, Dorothy (Bill) Thomas, Brothers, Devon (Glenda) Hood, and Miles Hood, Sisters-in-law,
Jean Hood, Debbie Hood, and Brother-in-law, Hite Williams.
He is survived by, His wife of 55 years, Linda Hood of Goodspring, TN

Kendall (Jennifer) Hood of Pulaski, TN
Daughter, Melinda (Jeff) Chaney of Trenton, GA

Krysten Hood, Halen Chaney, Rock Chaney, and Axl Chaney
