Betty Jo McMasters

Betty Jo McMasters, age 85, of Leoma,TN passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg,TN. She was a native of Tuscumbia, AL, retired from Crockett Hospital, and a member of First Baptist Church of Lawrenceburg. She enjoyed gardening, square dancing, and taking in stray animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Amos and Emma Sparks Aycock, three sisters; Elizabeth, Bera, and Florine; one nephew, Mickey McMasters; and brother- in- law, Bill McMasters (Peggy).

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bobby McMasters of Leoma, TN; four special nieces; Betsy Brewer (James) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Carolyn Willich (Larry) of Tuscumbia, AL, Patsy Kelley (Bill) of Tuscumbia, AL, Janey Kelley (Mike) of Murfreesboro, TN; four nephews, Steve Sparks of Nashville, TN, Billy Bevis (Janice) of Athens, AL, Butch McMasters of Collinwood, TN, and Bubba McMasters (Lisa) of Leoma, TN; and fur baby, Coco.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 13, 2024, with Robert McIlwain officiating. Interment will follow at Restview Cemetery in Loretto, TN.
