A family in Wayne County has put up American flags and Veteran names as a way to honor those who have served in the armed forces. There are 200 flags and more than 400 handwritten Veteran names on the wall of the Collinwood home. A memorial cross with a wreath honoring the departed and soldiers’ boots are also on display as part of the tribute. Stan and Darlene Hanback, the homeowners, stated that they work on the project year-round. To honor those who have served, the pair erects the display for Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and July 4th. The artwork is located in Collinwood on Fourth Avenue North for those who wish to view it.
