Let’s put road safety first as Daylight Saving Time comes to an end! It’s simple to feel a little sleepy when driving because of the darker evenings and irregular sleep schedule. This week, November 3rd through the 9th is Drowsy Driving Prevention Week. Driving when sleepy can be just as dangerous as driving while intoxicated, and even a slight distraction can have detrimental effects. Well-rested drivers are safe drivers, so keep that in mind! Take breaks, drink plenty of water, and don’t be afraid to stop if you start to feel sleepy. Let’s strive to maintain the safety of our highways.
