Continuing Hurricane Clean Up in East Tennessee

Over 800 TDOT workers have worked approximately 90,000-man hours to restore connectivity in the month since Hurricane Helene destroyed Upper East Tennessee. They are not slowing down, even though they are quite proud of their workers and the advancements that have been accomplished. They are committed to restoring every closed road and bridge, acknowledging that there are still significant milestones to be reached. It has been touching to receive the expressed gratitude, and the team members would like to thank you. Seeing your support has been encouraging to many of the crews working to restore East Tennessee, many of whom also reside in the area.
